Hi there, my name is John Blair and I am the Outreach Coordinator for The Base Drop In Centre in Lambeg.
Can I first of all say a big thank you for visiting our site and we hope you find your time here both enjoyable and productive. This website has been designed by young people, for young people. I feel it is important to give the young people ownership of everything we do in The Base, after all, it is their centre and if it wasn’t for them we wouldn't exist. This website will be a place where young people can get information about a whole variety of topics, ranging from drugs and alcohol to what rights you have as a young person. It will give you links to various sites were you can find help from the privacy of your own bedroom. Having said all that, the website is not just for young people, its for youth worker's too. Here you will find all the programmes that I have designed so please feel free to download them and use as often as you like. These programmes are for everyone, there is no point in reinventing the wheel if the work has already been done.
