The Base "It Rocks Our Socks!"

This website was designed and is maintained by the members of the Base youth club.

The Base drop-in centre was officially opened on 12^th January 2007 and is part of Harmony Hill Presbyterian Church. Young people from all religions and backgrounds meet together in a friendly and safe environment.

Since the drop-in centre has opened we have helped shape our community through Streetreach, which involved cutting hedges, picking up litter, scrubbing graffiti off walls and also painting.

Other activities we have taken part in are banana-boating, a day trip to Portrush and watching the Belfast Giants.

Through this website we aim to show the people of Lambeg the positive effect we have on the community and each other.

The Base is somewhere we can express our religous beliefs openly, but has a practical Christian emphasis throughout. A popular phrase in the base is 'Smile, Jesus Loves You '
